This light and flexible volunteer role focuses on amplifying approved content within relevant online communities, parent networks, and international spaces, strengthening word-of-mouth and referral pathways. Local Partnerships and Community Outreach Volunteer

• Help Afloat e.V. become a trusted, visible resource within local communities. This role focuses on in-person, offline outreach, building relationships with professionals and institutions such as healthcare providers, schools, and community organisations. By sharing information directly in local settings, you help ensure that parents are referred to Afloat support groups through trusted channels and can access support earlier and more easily. Website Editor and Copywriting Volunteer

• Shape how Afloat is understood online. This role focuses on refining and optimising existing website content so it is clear, inclusive, engaging, and visible in search results. By improving structure, tone, accessibility, and SEO, you help ensure that people who reach our website can quickly understand our mission, values, and support offer, and feel confident taking the next step. Fundraising Lead

• Play a key role in ensuring Afloat’s financial stability and ability to deliver free, accessible peer support. This senior volunteer role leads Afloat’s fundraising efforts across grants, participant donations, corporate fundraising, major donor fundraising, and partnerships. • Help Afloat grow through many small, meaningful actions. This role supports community engagement by coordinating simple, time-bound micro-tasks that make it easy for members, facilitators, and supporters to contribute without pressure.
