Neurodivergent Mothers* Berlin
Monthly In-Person Group
In-Person SUPPORT GROUP - BERLIN / Every SECOND TUESDAY of the month at 7.30pm CET
EINhorn Familienzentrum - Fredersdorfer Str. 10
REgistration is currently open
A Safe Space for Neurodivergent Immigrant Mothers* to Share and Connect in Berlin
This group is for mothers* who experience the world differently—whether through ADHD, autism, or other forms of neurodivergence. Parenting is chaotic, and when you experience the world differently, it can feel even more overwhelming. Sensory overload, self-criticism, struggles with routines, and balancing your child's needs with your own can be incredibly challenging.
Our peer-led in-person meetings offer a space to connect with others who share similar experiences, without the need to explain or justify your struggles. It’s a place for open conversation, mutual support, and exchanging perspectives on balancing motherhood*, personal well-being, and everyday life.
Who is this group for?
• Mothers* who identify as neurodivergent
• Those looking for understanding and a sense of community
• Anyone interested in sharing experiences or simply listening to others
We are very much looking forward to welcoming you as a peer at:
Einhorn Familienzentrum - Fredersdorfer Str. 10, 10243 Berlin.
Please note: This group will be conducted in English and is open to anyone who considers themselves a mother* or primary caretaker of all age children regardless of gender identity or family structure who would like to share their stories and experiences in a safe space.
We would like to thank Stadtteilkasse Friedrichshain West for their generous support, without which this group would not be possible.
About our facilitator
The group is facilitated by immigrant mother*, Maria Karagicheva.
Her role is to facilitate the conversation and ensure the safety of the group.
Maria is a psychologist with a deep interest in neurodiversity and motherhood*. As a neurodivergent mother*, she understands firsthand the challenges of balancing parenting, self-care, and personal growth while living with ADHD. This experience has shaped her professional focus on supporting neurodivergent persons —especially mother* — who seek understanding, connection, and practical tools to navigate daily life.
Please note that Maria will be leading this support group as a peer, not in her capacity as a psychologist.
